First Friday in Groves will feature a full three hours of non-stop free entertainment from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 2 on Lincoln Ave. Scheduled activities of the Lincoln Avenue monthly celebration include generous door prizes in honor of Mother's Day, a cakewalk sponsored by Val Verde Church, and 3 individual performances by the Queens of Cinderella. Disc jockey Donna Marx will again offer music and trivia, Sunny the Clown and The Jester will create balloon animals and paint faces, and a moonwalk will be available for the little ones.

First Friday in Groves on Lincoln Avenue is a fun filled family oriented event. Scheduled to take place the First Friday of each month, no two events are ever the same! The events are located on Lincoln Avenue between Washington and Coolidge.
