Groves Community Watch Program
Community Watch is currently meeting 7:00PM, the first Tuesday of the month, at the Senior Citizen Center.
We will be adding information pertinent to the citizens of the Groves community to this site in the near future.
The Groves Police Department is located adjacent to City Hall at 3947 Lincoln Avenue . The business office is open Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. An emergency telephone is located outside the front door of the Police Station and may be utilized by any person needing assistance.
The Groves City Police Department consists of a Patrol and Investigative divisions. The patrol officers being available for service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The investigators may be contacted during regular business hours.
Emergency calls for service and 9-1-1 calls are received by Central Dispatch which is jointly owned by the cities of Groves, Port Neches and Nederland. If a person needs to discuss a non-emergency matter with an officer, they may call 409-727-1614.
The Police Department is comprised of a City Marshal, a Chief Deputy, a Lieutenant, five (5) Sergeants, a Narcotics Investigator, and nine (9) Deputy Marshals. This group of highly trained and motivated officers are constantly striving to make the City of Groves a safe and secure community.
