Welcome to the City of Groves Public Works Department

Mission:

To provide the citizens of Groves exceptional service in all functions of the Public Works capacity and maintain a safe and healthy infrastructure in a friendly, efficient manner. 

Public Works Administration and Engineering provides administrative support and overall direction of the Public Works Department. Functions included in the Public Works Department are:

* Solid Waste collection and disposal
* Water Treatment
* Wastewater Treatment
* Water distribution and maintenance
* Wastewater Collection and maintenance
* Street/Sign/Signalization construction maintenance and repair
* Drainage system maintenance and repair
* Garage/Fleet maintenance and repair
* Inspections Division

Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Closed each day from noon to 1:00 pm for lunch.
After Hours
After normal business hours and on holidays and weekends, phones will be
answered by the water treatment operator on duty. Please leave a voicemail
if the operator is unable to receive your call and you will be contacted.
